That is a very thin example and is not specific to women’s participation in society. Social networks are hardly specific to women and computing has mostly been a notoriously male-dominated activity. And I never implied that women’s inventions don’t matter. Though this example is not a serious counter-example to my claim, it is still a perfectly legitimate invention.
